Image Specialty Partners is a dental support organization serving 44 multi-specialty practices across California and Oregon. Founded and led by world-class doctors, we are driven by a mission to enhance quality of life by equipping our partners with expert mentoring and comprehensive administrative support. This allows our doctors to focus fully on delivering the highest standards of care and achieving exceptional patient outcomes.

Our administrative team is composed of professionals with firsthand experience in dental practices, giving us a deep understanding of both provider and patient needs. As a multi-specialty group, our practices are uniquely positioned to address a wide range of dental and oral health needs—caring for patients at every stage of life.

Executive Leadership Team

Yan Kalika, DMD, MS

Orthodontist, Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Yan Kalika is the Founder & Executive Chairman of Image Specialty Partners and is also the founder of Image Orthodontics, a leading destination for innovative, technology-forward orthodontics and personalized patient experience. For 20 years, Image Orthodontics’ team of world-class orthodontists and staff has provided braces, Invisalign, clear braces, TMD/TMJ, and sleep apnea treatments, and transformed the smiles of adults, teens, and children.

Dr. Yan Kalika, DMD, MS, is a certified specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, and the San Francisco Dental Society.

Dr. Kalika graduated with honors and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993, majoring in chemistry. While at Berkeley, he was in the Students’ Honor Society and the Golden Key Honor Society. He received his dental degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1998. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Washington, D.C., in the field of dental health policy. While at Harvard, Dr. Kalika served as president of the American Student Dental Association, where he received a national award of excellence. He was a lecturer at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Harvard School of Public Health. He received honors in all clinical disciplines at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, the Soma Weiss Research Scholarship, and an International Research Fellowship from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kalika completed his orthodontic training at the University of California at San Francisco, where he received a specialty certificate in orthodontics and facial orthopedics and a master’s degree in oral biology. In 2022, he was awarded the UCSF Alumni Entrepreneur Award.

Alejandra Salonga

Vice President of Operations & Human Resources

Alejandra oversees and directs operational management of the company’s practices and supporting infrastructure. She also leads Human Resources, managing compensation and benefits, recruiting, and training.

Alejandra has two decades of experience in the orthodontic industry, managing practices and operations, acquiring and integrating new practices, and accelerating practice growth. Alejandra joined the company 20 years ago and has served the organization at all levels of management, including the General Manager, Office Manager, and Treatment Coordinator at the company’s flagship brand Image Orthodontics™.

Alejandra has a BS in General Psychology and an MA in Developmental Psychology from San Francisco State University.

Colleen Henderson

Vice President of Finance

Colleen leads the growth of the company by creating, assessing, and managing business opportunities, including but not limited to acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, and partnerships, and also manages major capital projects.

She has a 30-year track record of start-ups, turnarounds, M&A, and successful integrations and has deep experience in operations and finance. Most recently, Colleen served as Founder and CEO of Windemere Partners, a consulting firm specializing in patents, M&A, finance, and restructuring. Prior to Windemere Partners, Colleen was Chief Executive Officer of Pantros IP.com, a patent software company focused on Patent Portfolio Management and Patent Analysis.

Colleen has a BS in Animal Science and a minor in Business from Fresno State University and an MBA in Accounting from National University.

Aarti Subramanian

Vice President of Acquisitions

Aarti is a seasoned leader driving the acquisition efforts for the company, spearheading the creation of acquisition and development strategies, fostering key partnerships, conducting financial analyses, negotiating transactional agreements, and overseeing due diligence processes.

With nearly two decades of expertise, Aarti possesses a rich background in financial analysis, specializing in M&A, financial planning, and corporate strategy development. Most recently, she served as the Head of Finance & Operations at a Pediatric Dental Practice, navigating the unique challenges of the dental services sector. Before this, Aarti was a Senior Manager in the Transactions Advisory Services group at Ernst & Young, specializing in structuring and executing complex transactions. Earlier, she held roles in investment banking at Starlight Investments, LLC, and equity research at JPMorgan.

Aarti holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Mumbai University, complemented by an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Rice University.

Roman V. Meydbray

Vice President of IT

Roman is an accomplished IT executive with over a decade of experience leading global IT support and digital workplace teams. He has overseen large, distributed organizations across the U.S. and Europe, delivering support in complex, highly regulated healthcare and med-tech environments. At Image Specialty Partners (ISP), Roman leads the company’s digital transformation strategy, ensuring that cutting-edge AI technologies and innovations are integrated across all systems.

He is known for building data-driven, customer-centric IT organizations that enhance user satisfaction, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. Roman has successfully led multiple M&A integrations, ensuring seamless transitions, business continuity, and a positive employee experience all while maintaining rigorous compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR, SOX, and ISO 27001.

Evelyn Scalora

Vice President of Brand Marketing

Evelyn oversees the development and direction of brand strategy, multi-channel marketing, and communications systems for the company.

She has over 25 years of experience successfully innovating and launching, from concept to commercialization, multi-million dollar brands and products in the health and wellness space. Evelyn most recently served as Chief Operating Officer in the food retail sector, transforming the company’s brick-and-mortar business model to wholesale grocery. She also served as the Vice President of Global Marketing and Product Innovation at Jamba Juice, leading the successful franchise expansion and marketing for Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Hawaii.

Evelyn has a BA in International Relations & Business from San Francisco State University and an MA in International Business & Affairs from Golden Gate University.
